A counsellor specialising in relationships, a coach and a meditation and mindfulness teacher. Helping clients work towards their own version of a well lived life.
I’m Jiselle Saraghi, the owner of Innercalm Counselling and creator of Mindful Munchers. I’m passionate about helping my clients believe in themselves, make positive changes and live their optimal life. My work is inspired by the ‘inward journey’. It is very exciting to sit alongside my clients as they embark on their self-discovery.

I consider my work with my clients to be a joint venture. My role is often simply to help my clients recognise the strengths that they already possess and facilitate a process where change becomes possible. It is my intention to create an environment where my clients will feel safe to explore their issues.
Who am I?
I have been working in the field of counselling for more than 17 years. Previously I have been a primary school teacher, a cafe owner and a group facilitator in community health. Before commencing my private practice I worked as a relationship and family counsellor for Life works, a relationship counselling and education service based in Melbourne, Victoria. I am also the proud mother of four young adult children.
I have recently made a major life move and have relocated from Melbourne to the Gold Coast in sunny Queensland. I am loving my new home but there are many challenges that come with establishing a new life. I believe my willingness to embrace change and step into the unknown stands me in even better stead to guide my clients as they encounter their life’s challenges. (See blog entry)
I have a strong commitment to personal growth. I believe in keeping myself physically and mentally fit. I make time to do something I love, (other than work) every day. I meditate daily and exercise often. Living a balanced life is crucial to our health and well being. I am very committed to helping my clients connect to what they love and also find this balance.
My clinical work is informed by formal training, professional work experiences, personal therapy and supervision, my family, relationships, friendships and my experience as a mother.
I am registered with the Australian Counselling Association as a level 4 clinical member. This is their highest level of membership. The ACA promotes and sets standards for competent and safe professional counselling practice, including standards of training, supervision of clinical work and ongoing professional development, all of which improves the quality of counselling and psychotherapy provision to the community.
I also regularly participate in workshops, courses and specialist training to continually develop as a professional clinician.
